Need some story for short film

Hey guyz!
I need help! These days I am totaly without any inspiration. Can you give me any tips for 10-15 min short film? Ane basic story ... anything !!! Pleeze ...

When you find the right idea for you it will have a thousand sub ideas.

I don't think you'll find anyone who is prepared to give away their film ideas. Ideas are the most important and valuable aspects of films.

If you just want to get experience of using a camera etc why not use a scene from an existing film and re-make it in your own way, or base it on a news story etc etc.

Try this:

The top artist of his time (Oil Painting) is in hiding for a variety of psychological reasons. He spends his time working art shows
and being a drunken slob.
One morning he wakes in a motel room with a strange woman and begins to paint as if possesed.

The walls the lamps.

While standing on the bed, he stumbles and crashes through the wall into the next room.

Undaunted he continues to paint running through the hole in the wall.

An art critic has been following him the whole time and shows himself as the S.W.A.T team arrives.

Take any real life situation then turn it into your own point of view.

For example:

Ordering something at a fast food resturant.

"Perhaps."

"Would you like to order?"

"Sure."

"WHAT yould you like to order!"

"Food, no Onion Rings."

"We do not serve onion rings. They are not on the menu."

"Sorry, I would like a large taco. Extra onions............................................ .................................................. .................................................. .

"DOYOUSEEPOTATOCHIPSONTHEMENU~!!!!"

well, there's always the film about a guy trying to make a film. i like those films, and other filmmakers can learn from it.

Here's a tip for ya,
There's something that a lot of movie makers do. They start with a good scene in mind and the build a movie around it. (Sydney Pollack)
I find that it makes a good starting point to a movie or at least a script.
The rest is your imagination running wild. I sometimes use alcohol for tuff periods. Go to the pub with your notepad and drink bear, but not too much otherwise you'll pass out.
Split your story up into their 3 Acts (Setup, Confrontation and Resolution) and you've got a movie.

- The fuse in the christmas lights at school blew
- Nearly got caught in the woods by school skinning up
- Was high and saw an old lady fall over and laughed (oops)
- Made some coffee
- Read a script for a play 'The Beggars Opera'

...
think about ur day and what things that happened and whether there's a potential story in them.
